This derby game is one to watch. Its going to be entertaining.
West ham just picking up points after a dismal start to the campaign while Spurs still struggling to find form in their home games at Wembley.
With the return of Andy Carroll, Bilic needs to sort out his attacking intentions .
Will he play Carroll and Hernandez together and will they be effective playing together.
Poch will be hoping Harry Kane delivers against a very fragile Hammers backline .
HARRY KANE VS WINSTON REID
There’s always a feeling Kane smells if a backline is fragile and that’s when he goes for the kill. Earlier this season West ham defence looked fragile shipping in goals after two successive cleansheats and Wiston Reid looking back to his best.
You expect the hammers captain to keep a close watch on Harry Kane.
ANDY CARROLL VS TOBY ALDERWEIRELD
This is going to be a battle between two physically imposing players.
Carroll loves aerial duels and Toby will stick to him and try to stop him . He needs to be at his best cause West Ham will test the Spurs resolve by hitting those crosses and long balls to Carroll.
WHERE THE GAME WILL BE WON AND LOST
Spurs mildfield lack real quality in the absence of Dembele.
West Ham also lack quality in that department. Age is catching up on Mark Noble. It seems in every game they keep loosing the mildfield battle.
The team whose mildfield take the game by the scroff of the neck have a greater chance of winning.
He can decide games and part of me wants to see West Ham play the traditional 4-4-2 where Carroll will be knocking those aerial balls down for Hernandez.
If Carroll is not scoring he’s a creating chances for his teammate by putting the opposition backline under pressure using his imposing frame.
Am aware of Spurs away form but I go for a goal scoring draw.
